Probably the most interesting game of the year was Demon's Souls. Pick that up as long as you're OK with the spirit crushing level of difficulty.

It's not a bad thing at all. Everything that we are currently getting out of PSN for free will remain free. The premium charge will be for early access to demos, free premium themes, and stuff like that.

PS3. Only advantage of the XBox is cheaper cost and better online set-up (albeit, one you have to pay for).

They're both pretty much the same considering that the Elite is a much safer buy than getting the cheaper 360 since it's much more prone to system failure.
