Grad school "enrichment" fellowships

Apparently you can get your masters in accountancy covered and a $1500/month stipend if you are a part of an "under represented group". Does anyone know how easy these are to obtain assuming decent grades and very strong test scores? In situations of people who are 50%, etc. particularly? My mother was born in Cuba and fleed Castro, am I in? I've been checking off the hispanic box on every census questionnaire since kindergarten for this but don't know if I qualify, especially with anglo sur name, not speaking spanish, etc.

My guess is that you would qualify as an URM.

i have a similiar ethnic background and i am considered "hispanic" at the school that i attend.

however, i have a very common hispanic last name. I doubt that makes a difference.
