Paying 5 year olds to write your lyrics (i.e. Akon). Numerous examples, but "Beautiful" is just ridiculous.

Equally, writing songs with hidden meanings (e.g. Tool) is pretty wanky. Sure, subtlety is great, but not that much.

Screamo, emo, artsy, frat, goth, star wars, trekkies, vampire, lord of the rings, trying to stay young forever, dungeons and dragons, video game, goth-ninja, ghetto, music snobbery, poverty, grammar queens, mac vs. pc, philosophical, talking about tv characters like you actually know them IRL, pick up artist, not coping with going bald, baaallin', fashionistas, try hard sub/counter culture know nothings... Add the word douche bag to end of any of those words. PS. If I missed your unique and life enriching circle jerk, fear not, I do think you suck but its been a long day.

It honestly varies. Sometimes, nothing. I had a bottle of wine on Sunday night, a pint of Guinness last night, just a glass of Bord tonight. In my first two years of college I would take care of a handle (1.5L) of Evan Williams in a single weekend. On occasion I still down a bottle of bourbon in a single evening. Not a liter though, a fifth.
