King's Quest 3 was one of the greatest games ever. I used to love those games. Heroes' Quest (renamed Quest for Glory). EverQuest. Asheron's Call on the FFA PvP server before it became an exploitfest. Civ. q3. I probably have the greatest amount of nostalgia for EverQuest, all things considered. The EverQuest world was just so vast and amazing, and it created a sense of scale and wonderment that hasn't been replicated to this day.
Geek, and anyone else that played EQ back in the day, I've found and am now playing on a very active emulated EQ Server. It's called Project 1999 and it's a completely authentic EQ classic experience that started in October. People are raiding the planes, Kunark comes out in October. It's amazing. Check it out, it's like a gaming time machine.

Same here. That type of experience sounds pretty fun though and I'm betting most players on that server are old school EQ who appreciate the zerg-style competitive raiding that made EQ awesome
