Forgotten great albums

Boss Hog - Boss Hog - mid-90s, Jon Spencer and his wife Christina (the band predates the JSBX, so it's not exactly a side project), scuzzy groove punk. She got nekkid for the cover of the album following this one.

Also did a great cover of Wire's "12XU" that was a b-side to one of the singles.

Definitely a forgotten band, but I much prefer "Drinkin', Lechin' & Lyin'".

I'm assuming because it's more period-specific than most "classics" but also because of his position in the shadow of Bob Dylan.

I find some of the bands that aren't REM and the B-52s from the Athens, GA scene quite good: Pylon and The Method Actors come to mind.

All angular and spasmodic dancing.
