Has anyone made this? It sounds really delightful and rather simple. For the ones with fruit fillings, which is your favorite fruit to use?

It is easy to make. It's basically a pastry cream pie. Traditionally I think it used brandied cherries. Figs, blackberries, etc, are also good. The hardest part, imo, is getting the dough right, as it can be difficult to cut the butter in so that it makes the perfect flaky texture.
