i havent updated my situation in a few days

i dont remember what i last wrote but i spoke to michelle last week and she said they would ship last friday and i would get tracking. i called on monday and spoke to stephen and he said he is sorry but they would go out monday and i would get tracking. he said there was miscommunication between he and michelle and thats why they didnt go out and he just got into the office that day from his trip. so same old BS ...

i called bank of america and their policy states that disputes must be made within 60 days of the date the purchase was posted. i paid on 08/02 so i couldnt even file a claim. the bank said the only thing i could do is dispute it with the merchant and tell the better business bureau.

thankfully i got an email 30 min ago from stephen with tracking

"Dear Pierce,

Your boots were shipped yesterday via Canada Post Express Post.

Your tracking number is: CE 539 914 011 CA

Sorry for the delays Thanks again for your business.

Have a Happy Holiday Season.

Kindest Regards,

Stephen"

so i guess it "worked out" ... hopefully i dont have monstrosities arrive at my door step. those of you who are waiting should contact your bank and cancel the order ASAP if you can. if not, you will have to wait way longer than what stephen is saying. good luck with everyone else. ill post pics when/IF they arrive

I responded o stephen on his previous response

Okay i understand the fact you guys got a huge order back in April. I was okay with that. But my reorder was suppose ready in OCT. I was aware one that my remakes did not pass QC. But that was one instance. Question is where are my boots now? Where was the email you told me you write with the tracking on the Monday? I just find it hard to believe my boots are no where in sight. Why did I have to write an email to you with my complaints to finally get a response back from you. Despite all of this waiting I would have been satisfied if I had actually got the boots at the end - like I said I believe you guys do make a good product.  There is also rumors around Dayton is going under.  With the poor customer service / and these rumors I could not risk losing my money.  Anyhow I hope eventually you guys get your act together.

10 mins later I got the below response:

Dear Arthur,

Thanks for your email. I assume you have received your refund by now. I am very sorry
that your order turned into a debacle. Dayton Boots is not going under but we did suffer
from some production and customer services issues because of people not doing their jobs.
We are getting on track and we hope to be much efficient in the coming year.

From the looks of your email address you are involved in the securities industry.
While I acknowledge that we have had our problems, try holding up a mirror.

If you think we have a had a bad year, how about the tens of millions of consumers in the USA
that have been totally screwed by the securities and banking industries.

Fortunately for those industries, our tax dollars were there to bail you people out.
Dayton had no such security blanket!

In any event, best wishes for a Happy Holiday Season and a Healthy and prosperous New Year.

Kindest Regards,

Stephen

Funny he is so quick when I write a nasty email but has troubles when I call / email him politely asking about my boots. And I work in a Canadian bank. Not US. geez

wow ... at least they havent been refusing refunds for people. seems like everyone who has asked straight up for a refund, they have been giving them. i dont understand what is going on over there

it seems like only 3 people work for that entire company

Glad you got your tracking number. I sorta regret for asking for a refund. Seems like if I had waited out a bit longer maybe I could have got my boots. But then again maybe not. Will try again on their anniversary sale.

I tried for over a month to get a refund. Numerous back and forths with Stephen over email. Never got a refund from them. Filed a CC dispute and they shipped my boots after they received the dispute. baldy[1].gif
