Anyone try these yet?

Just overpriced button-downs, or anything special?

I think it's hard for a shirt to be "anything special". I'm happy with it being well made, nice fabric and well cut. For me, that's worth $100-$150 but not more. They have a retail front in Houston. I plan to stop by next time I'm there.

Can anyone comment on the fit or relative sizing of this brand in comparison to other brands most people here are familiar with?

I'm interested in finding out as well. A shop in Houston (aside from Hamilton's own) now carries them. Hopefully I can try one soon.

The Hamilton rep came to visit us the other day and I saw the shirts in person. They're very nice. Construction is good and the fabrics are really phenomenal. The fit is pretty close to a Gitman Vintage oxford. It's not particularly slim and it's not darted, but you can get a solid slim fit by sizing down one.

I agree that their pricing is on the high side for basics. But if you like one of their specialty fabrics, then chances are you'll be happy with the final product. They're using a lot of Italian goods.

We're talking about doing some special make-up styles with them in the Fall. They have a few awesome fabrics in their book that I'm eyeing.
