Same shoe at TBS is $382 including VAT. In my experience, the-corner always has higher prices than anywhere else I've seen. This probably doesn't help since TBS is mostly sold out -- but that's to say that the-corner is the only place I've seen the price that high.

The Corner is the link through site from the main CP site so I guessed that these are CP 'approved' prices. Are there any other US-based retailers who have the Summer Achilles yet?

Has anyone experience receiving a pair of common projects with very inconsistent leather? One of the pairs has very nice smooth and soft leather the other pair half of the shoe is like that, but the other half has very rough and large grained leather.

It's very common for the edges of a hide to be rough, stiff, or stretchy. If half of the shoe is great and the other half isn't, it could be that they cut the uppers on a section of the hide like near the edge which is a pretty stupid thing to do. I'd get a refund on that particular pair. For their current price, they better be damn near perfect.

Thanks for posting that

Thinking about dropping on the achilles hightops, they are nice.

The corner has insane prices.

The best is the prices when you buy something in AUD, they just add 30-50 % to the item and still charge 30 euro for shipped.

Insane, I don't know why / how people buy anything from them,

Yep, thecorner full prices are a joke, also big prices discrepancies between regional websites. I had some stuff proxied from the US version since it was the only one with decent deals.
