I like the white ones, will probably buy. White shoes with gum soles are emminently wearable, easier to pull off than black shoes/white soles, IMO.

I agree, but I'd really rather that they do the reverse colorway - beige uppers (say, in perforated leather) with a white sole, like they did with a bunch of styles a couple of SS seasons ago.

white gum bottoms are sick. Reminds me of my Air Force 1's and the days hanging on Niketalk. Hopefully Barneys gets them and knocks them down to $180.

Maybe if the black ones were in a dark blue.

Call them off white or tan then. Black and tan. You could totally do it.

^Also the patent bone colour is essentially beige and those things are the easiest patent CPs to wear by far imo.

Yeah. The non-optic whites, imo, are the easiest to wear. I like CPs, and I really like the Achilles, in theory, but they don't have a really defined shape, and with the wrong pants, can easily look like old orthodontics - which I guess is cool if you like old man steez.

180 for all-white low-top Achilles is a good price. Even during the $99 Theory frenzy, they were either Achilles mids, high-top Courts, etc.

Just got my boy some basic white achilles size 43 (waddup teger) and they look fantastic.

i always feel gipped buying lowtops... less leather for the same price! i might as well buy highs/mids and cut off part of it... i pay the same price and get some leather out of which i can add trim to a jacket or something
