I used to see a Mercedes sedan with the license plate "DAYENU". Always made me laugh.

My gf recently said she feels like every single car she's ever seen from New Hampshire has vanity plates because people there "have nothing better to do". We later the same night she said that pulled into the driveway of a friend whose roommate is from NH, who of course had vanity plates. He explained that they're free in NH. The mystery was solved...

The end (cool story, bro)

I always thought that put être would make a good vanity plate ... not that I would consider having one.

Two good ones from the other day: "HOBBITS," on a Cadillac driven by two old farts, and "11 MPG" on an Infinity QX56 or whatever those humongous things are.

Yikes! I'd think that would quite frightening to the guy stopped at the red light when he sees you approach in his rear view mirror. Move to Florida.
