The Fedora. It may be creeping back a little bit, but it's still too widely reviled when doing anything but accompanying jeans and a t-shirt, particularly for what used to be a standard and highly complimentary piece of the classic tailored ensemble.



The Cravat. The proper one, not all that wedding matchy-matchy nonsense.

Chain mail?

Actually, I wore cotton turtulenecks a lot when my son was just a baby ... yeah wool would be nice, but I needed something easily washable as I was facing a steady stream of baby-muck stains so a functionality compromise was needed.
