I'm sure of the model numbers, but some of the All-Clad slow cookers have ceramic inserts while others are made of metal.

Any experience with the model linked above? I like the versatility of the stoneware vs. the Hamilton Beach. The fact that the lid on the Hamilton Beach locks shut is nice. Not sure whether I'd get much use out of the thermometer or not.

I think if I were to go with the all-clad I'd want the more expensive version with the cast aluminum insert, and I'm not thrilled with paying $300 for a slow cooker.
