I'm thinking I could survive off the damn stuff but I'm wondering if have my wages should be going to Sabra.

I've made my own and it's dead simple but maybe someones got a real bangin' recipe. Or even weird things you dip that might not be popular.

holla back hummus heads

Blender + chickpeas + olive oil + lemon juice + salt

From there you can add anything you want. Sabra is very good though, as is the Trader Joe's stuff.

And some cumin if you're feeling adventurous.

my dad makes deadly hummusm tahina and falafel. the best is to also have a full tomato sliced up, hot peppers, cucumbers and onions. you dip your pita into the humus, eat it, take a massive bite of the hot pepper, then a bite of the tomato and cucumber, and repeat. so good.

one of my friends from college was from Beiruit. She always made hummus in vat sized quantity ... drool. Then again, I am very lucky to have a magnificent Israeli place right down the street from me. Fresh hummus and shakshuka (sp?) and everything delicious...
