(That is an awesome belt. Mistral I think the winner should receive the loser's belt).

Hehe... Well thanks all for the comments on the denim and offcourse the belt. In case if anyone is interested, it's a Blue Blood belt. Should take it to a tailor some day since it's very long.

I think the soaking of these babies helped a lot for achieving the damage allready done. The 008's I had, I also soaked them but probably after two months of wear. It really speeds up the wearing process I think.

I'm wondering what they will look like in about two months from here. Mlyngard when are you going to post an update?

Had to do indoor pictures - it's grey and rainy out today. Some electric blue coming in nicely. Other than that, just the normal creasing and shininess from break-in. Been thinking I'll do my first wash at mid-point; so in another 2-3 weeks. By then, I think there will be something to show. I agree - there's no question that soaking or washing expedites the fading process. Plus, I'm not going for a really high-contrast fade for these, even though they're capable of it.

Nice fading going on there Mlyngard.

I realised today my pair is exactly one month old. These suckers fade like someone has his gut cut open. Dunno how and why, because I really don't wear them that hard... But the last three days, the outlines of my Zippo started to show... And the little corner on the backpocket (from my pack of cigarettes), has quadrupled now, showing the outlines of the pack Marlboro. Not to mention whiskering and combing =P

I foresee something great in a couple of months. I'll keep you guys updated.

Dude, I can already read 'marlboro' through my pocket. Yeah, it's accelerating now. Got soaked in the rain twice yesterday too, which always seems to get things moving.
