In all seriousness, if you decide to hang around here for a while, you'll get used to the general level of sarcasm, snark, and dickishness here. It's all meant (well, mostly) in good fun.

Lufty, you taking grammar lessons from my post in the other thread? I love corrections. Makes me smile.

Offering worthless opinions is our hobby.

One of the few things I have learned in law school, mainly by reading Bryan Garner's books, is the importance of proper grammar. Now of course I often make errors, but none so egregious as to use improper homophones. I apologize for my improper use of "homonym" in my earlier post. And you asked for this:

Part of my job is proofing and revising. My hobby is clothing. So, in a way, revising this post was both.

Ironic that you made so many mistakes in a post condemning another's grammar and spelling.

not really, but I totally caught you second-guessing yourself

Of course they are fake. Why would the girl give you a real pair of Gucci loafers? What did you give her for xmas?

Maybe you should try another forum! Don't ask for opinions and expect a serious/spot on response every time. The members use their know how to help posters like you and at times convey those thoughts with a bit of wit! Fake/real or not, if you don't realize that the members would have some funny $hit to say...then you should stop paying your dues and move on.

And fyi, those are as fake as a $3 bill!
