My Father's Old Knapp Lineman Boots

I wear these now. I searched and found relatively no info on this boot. My father paid decent money for them: they are steel shanked and toed, USA made, Goodyear rubber outsoled, heavy and comfortable. He only wore them about 20 times, and only while climbing (he worked for the Phone Company). Anyone know anything about these?

Awesome boots If these are Knapp Brothers boots, and if there is the same following for these as their engineer/motorcycle boots - they could be worth quite alot... Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...#ht_500wt_1182 Crappy condition boots with buckles missing sold for more than $400!

Sick boots, gotta love vintage quality. Side note, I found a pair of vintage Chippewa engineer boots at a thrift store yesterday, $46 but I have enough boots and couldn't justify buying another pair. Thought about flipping on the bay but passed.

http://www.knappstore.com/ recently started making work boots in america again. They own the name, they might be able to give you some info on your dad's boots, which look somewhat like these Knapp 9 inch Farm Boots

Those plain toe farm boots look nice. Hopefully they succeed, as they were excellent boots a long time ago.
