Must-see MMA fights?

Thread Starter
I've watched a handful of recent events (Fedors-Rogers, UFC 100, 101, 107 etc.) and liked what I saw thus far. I'm also a sucker for good discussions, so naturally I'd like to educate myself on the sports. Other than signing up for a dojo, I figured watching some "classic" fights would be a good start.

Some suggestions from an august member on here:
  • Forrest Griffin vs Stefan Bonnar
  • Any old Fedor fight from Pride
  • Don Frye fights
  • Bisping vs Hammill and Machida vs Shogun for shady decisions

Show me what you got. TIA,

Just watch as much Pride as you can find.

If I might throw in a question of my own for the MMA fans: Does anybody remember the fight I'm thinking of here?: It was this white Tae Kwon Do guy vs some wrestler. As soon as the bell rings, the wrestler lunges for TKD and the dude completely jumps over the wrestler's head. The wrestler then turns around and makes another pass and the TKD guy tries to jump over him again, but this time the wrestler catches him in the air and slams the dude down onto his back, knocking him unconscious. Anyway it was really funny and I was hoping to see it again.

Just watched UFC73 again, great card. Silva's destruction of Marquardt was very satisfyingly brutal.

Definitely Wanderlei Silva fights from pride, especially vs Kazushi Sakuraba.

The Pride events, especially the tournaments, if you can stomach the sight of a superstar fighter like Shogun or Wanderlei soccer kicking and stomping a hapless Japanese opponent.

All of Anderson Silva's UFC fights. His destruction of Rich Franklin at UFC 64 is the fight that got me into MMA.

Matt Hughes v. Frank Trigg I & II

What? Saku lost all of them, badly. But yeah Saku fights are my favorite. Him vs Royce is a must watch.
