He ordered mine from factory to be drop shipped to me directly. I would think that he would be able to get whatever they have available. He's a really personable guy to talk with on the phone, so I'd just give him a call if in doubt. Good luck.

Thanks. I will give him a call.

PS: Thanks to the OP for turning us on to the info. Tony's sending me swatches, so stay tuned.

Great deal! But I've seriously got to wonder what is going on with AE? I mean, here we have a distributor offering 30-40% off of 1sts, even those not in stock, with free shipping? And this just after AE was charging $3 for $24 worth of polish that cost them $5 to ship.

Not quite sure what I'm saying here...just saying. Incredible deal and a bump and thanks for an almost unbelievable PSA!

New CEO at AE?

Thanks for the heads up. The price is cheaper than seconds... Only reason I like AE is because they go on sale and I can get them at a decent price. Otherwise, I choose Alden or Santoni.

Thanks guys for the orders. I don't make money on this promotion, but I run this sale a couple of weeks at the end of the year mainly to give a good deal on a great product and to generate some business during a slow time. Once again thanks and here is wishing everyone a happy and safe New Years!

You are the most awesomest vendor in the world!

Yes, I know, poor grammar. Wish I had some other business to throw your way, but I'm on the other side of the continent.

I highly recommend the Van Ness. I just got them in black. They are very comfortable and very classy. The best part is that they fulfill two needs in my wardrobe: a classic black oxford and a dressy rubber soled shoe. They have a 270 degree goodyear welt. The welt is cut much closer to the shoe than any of my "classic" A-Es. They also have a full length padded sockliner. The balance of the design is also better than most A-E shoes. Overall, I could not be happier.

^ Did you post the right pic? The welt in that photo is 360
