i usually wear a small and had the red chambray in small and exchanged for a xs. fits good but i felt the length was a bit short. now im thinking if i should return back for a small and get it altered.

Hmm, I've been looking at the Nailhead Oxford in XS as well...

Guus, what's your height/weight?

A blog's anniversary shouldn't be a big deal, but:

Anybody have the plantation madras? I'd like to see pics of it, I'm probably going to snag it tomorrow with the 15% off.

This is one of the problems I have when I size down.

I'm basically somewhere between a Medium and a Large. When I size down to a Medium, I get a slimmer fit in the torso and shoulders, but the length is a problem as is the sleeve length.

So I generally opt for the Large. Going a little less slim doesn't bother me, and overall the fit, while less tailored looking, feels more comfortable.

I do, but I'm too lazy to post any of my own pix. I can highly recommend it, if that helps.

Just email J Crew. They have measurements on everything.

I realize this should go in B&S:WTB, but I figured I'd hit the most j.crew fans here: did anyone buy the scooter / vespa emblematic tie that j.crew was selling a year or two ago? I slept on that one and haven't been able to find it on ebay or anything. Anyway, if you've got it and are willing to part with it for a reasonable price, let me know.

hmmm, maybe I should downgrade to an XS. I have both of these shirts and they're a bit loose. Never tried an XS though...or I'll just buff up. lol
