They look like PJ pants!

I received my sunfaded stanton shorts in spearmint and dusty lilac.
http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Browse/Mens...3863/23863.jsp

The shorts fit amazing well. Slightly slimmer than their broken in chino shorts. They feels like classic fit instead of regular fit. The length is about the same. The cotton twill is very soft, feels as if they really did wash them "300 minutes" as they say on the website. The cotton twill feels slightly thinner than that used for the broken in chino shorts.

The stanton pants in dusty baltic were also great. The fit is the same as the classic fit broken in chinos. Like the shorts, these pants feel very soft and "broken in".

Really want to get the stanton shorts in rustic orange, but they are backordered until June. The orange stanton pants are on sale now, though I don't know if I could pull of orange pants!

That shirt looks great, nice little details. I'm assuming that was the only color? Is sizing standard J. Crew sizing or red chambray sizing?

I think it's a tad smaller than red chambray - i'll take some measurements for everyone this weekend.

The gingham is the only color available.

I'm wearing it today and really loving it. It's funny how practical the pockets actually are. The details are great. I love how below the last visible button on the placket it has the pointed 'V" shape, and then below that there is a hidden button

That shirt is great. J. Crew is really outdoing themselves with interesting and quality pieces for S/S10. I really hope it keeps up for F/W, but I don't want to allow my expectations to get too high.

If you're buying I'd rock 'em. Wearing these is no more/less adventurous than wearing the patchwork madras pants PRL pants I've got. However, I'm not particularly fond of the overall outfit the model is wearing. I really don't understand the look. Yes, the J. Crew chambray is great, but seriously, do the models have to wear it with EVERY other item they sell?

Wow, that shirt looks great. Don't know if I could justify the high price tag for it though...

Does anyone have a 20% off coupon they are willing to get rid of from the last catalog? Please send me a private message. Thanks in advance

So I was thinking of picking up a chambray finally (I know, late to the chambray party haha) and I have noticed everyone says they are not as slim as other JC shirts. Do they fit similar to the flannels from last fall? Those were a little bigger than usual for me and was wondering if anyone noticed a correlation between the sizing of the two. Also, has anyone tried one of those meridien tees? They seem nice, but I was wondering if the neck was huge like most other boat shirts around.

Since I'm a student I don't really need the code I got. I'd be happy to give it to someone to use, but the tale of someone flipping it has me weary of just giving it out.

I don't have that much of a historical perspective to make that kind of assessment. I'll leave that to somebody who's been into J. Crew longer than I have.

I'd say this S/S is better than last year's though.
