Sorry. Did I give the impression that the red chambray is my favoirte shirt? It's not. But the idea of matching the watchband is intriguing.

Crew needs to come out with madras NATO straps.

The fit's actually pretty good on the madras. I originally thought it was similar to the secret wash, but I'm finding it's a little better.

In fact, the lightweight shirts this season seem a little trimmer to me.

I hope those new shirts don't have the same metal buttons though.

Both the lightweight and madras seem slimmer than the secret wash to me as well. The madras has higher armholes and thinner sleeves than the rest.

Ah. I see. And thanks. It's been hell.

Spent most of yesterday, though, thrifting with thrift-girl and came home with another Harris Tweed sport coat! Piled it into her $10 cart, which she filled to the brim with her stuff. So my coat came out costing me nothing, her about a dime!

Also came home with a JC Penny cardigan from the 1960s/70s ?? with The Fox thing on it (like the Aligator) AND with the store tags still on. It's great.

The red cham won't look good on me at all against my skin tone. Sigh....

I'll have to opted for the gray one.

I have an old shirt in a similar red and it doesn't do much for my skin tones either. Grey and blue work best for me in this kind of shirt right now.

Not a .pdf but you can browse the March men's catalog and click on the items for more information here: http://www.jcrew.com/catalog/catalog...120703&index=1

I like some of the looks they put together for the Monocle guys.
