Speaking of Converse, does anybody know where to find the Charcoal grey (similar to what J Crew did in the fall) version of Jack Purcells in a size 10? I can't seem to find them.

Exactly what I've been looking for. I can't find the J. Crew ones either, and am kicking myself for not picking some up when I had the chance. Would also appreciate any leads.

Yeah we buy different stuff Robert.
I don't buy any J.Crew tops (shirts, sweaters, jackets,..) because they don't fit my sleeves. I need a small/medium tall.
I pretty much only buy pants, jeans, socks, watchbands,...
I take a 34 in Ludlow suit pants, a 32 in the slim fit bowery pant, and a 31 in the vintage fit jeans.

Yeah, I have vastly different sizes on things. Size Small or maybe Medium in the tailored shirts (secret wash, flannels, lightweights, dress shirts, etc.) and could use another inch in the sleeves. I wear a medium or large in thermals, sweaters, and sweatshirts. Oh, and a small in outerwear. My true size is roughly a Medium.

Was there a line on the tag? They made a lot of seconds in this peacoat(At least in Medium Tall). I have bought a couple off of ebay and they have been terrible. The buttons were falling off and the whole jacket was miscut. They all had a line through the tag. I returned the peacoats to the sellers(after sending angry emails) and just bought a new one off jcrew.com

No, don't see that. Coat seems fine. Out of curiosity how were they miscut?

Robert. Converse should be sized down a half size. I'm a nine and always have bought 8.5 and fit perfectly

and like the guy said. Try zappos for converse. They have a huge selection and no tax free shipping. Most of the time they switch to overnight delv for free. Love it. Why waste time searching around for your correct size and pay overprice. Love the site

Good to know. My point was that current Converse are sized 1/2 bigger than they used to be. My new 10.5s fit exactly like my old 11s.

& yes I've used zappos before several times. But the discount place today for thesepwas still cheaper. Plus I could try them on for size. So I sprung.

I received the Surplus cotton sweater cardigan today. So far I like it. Very warm, thick and seems well made. I bought a small and I guess runs slightly big (I'm 5'8, 135lbs) on me but I was wearing it with an undershirt. Not sure what it would look like with a button down or a thicker tee or polo on. Overall I am happy with the pruchase but I would definitely not pay whole price on it. I would wait for another sale if anyone on here is interested. BTW, it was grey but as with everything advertised on their website, it is a bit darker than the picture. Depending on the light, it almost looks green; a darker, olive green.

Wait a sec? I thought you weren't feeling "winterish" and now you own the most sought after Peacoat? Have you been over come by Jah's charm?
