According to this article, using a women's razor in middle of a hot shower is the best way to get a close shave on the pubic area.

Personally, I've never had to shave with a razor blade, and I do not think I will start. I was thinking of buying an electric shaver that I could use for my pubes such as this one: http://www.walmart.ca/Canada-Feature...d=1840&tabId=0

1. Do you need to use shaving cream even if you're just using an electric shaver such as the one above? Specifically in the pubic area?

2. if anyone has tried this, what is your feedback on the results?

Thus far I've been using an electric trimmer, but they don't give you the smoothness I want. They tend to leave spikey buzz-cut style hair.

Thanks guys!

...Why? A modest trim with beard trimmers is all you need. I don't know why any guy would want to shave and look like a prepubescent boy. Thats my 2 cents anyway.

I don't see a big difference between women's and men's razors, especially after reading this review from Consumer Reports. If the ladies can get theirs trimmed like these, you should be able to do the same with a men's razor. Landing strip, teardrop and what have you.

I agree. There isn't much of a difference between the two.

Oh nevermind.

I just bought a mangroomer(electric shaver) and it works great. You just gotta take your time and go slow so cut the hairs and not pull them out.

Interestingly my gf has told me that the male razor is much sharper than the female razors.
