Don't drink the whole bottle. I'll drink 1/2 or 1/3 for a quick 2 or 3 hr pick-me-up.

Try yerba mate. Its a tea from south america which will definately help you focus and wak up a little. Its very healthy for you too. It has a similar chemical to caffiene called matiene. Its like caffiene without the jitters.

What happened to just being natural and not taking anything to do work? The reason you are probably feeling down after a long day is because you are already taking other types of supplements that run out and you are experiencing withdrawal, either physiological or biological. Not to mention if you are tired, its your body saying you should stop, and to force it further is unhealthy.

My two cents, I guess. I work long days all the time and only drink water, while everyone around me is kicking 5 coffees, a few 5 hour energy thing boosters, some red bulls, caffein supplements and mysterious red pills.

Majority of the supplements out there are crap. The industry has virtually NO regulations on it and manufacturers can claim just about anything as a benefit of taking what's in their bottle WITHOUT having to back it up. Understand that supplements are not tested and verified before release to the public like medications are.

There is a reason medicines have to go through years of trials before they are approved to sell in this country. It protects your health and it protects your wallet from being ripped off. Double-blind testing FTW.

Lots of truth in this. Upon waking, chug 32 oz of water. I used to do that before I'd see my PO back on proby. Massive amounts of energy, just stay close to a bathroom....

I agree to an extent, but things like adult ADHD and ADD are medical realities. Staying natural won't help if you have a bad case of either and a Doc prescribed medication might.

I found that taking cat naps during the day helps for those extra long days. Maybe like 10-15 minutes after lunch really wakes me up for the rest of the day into the night.

Oh, for random urinalysis. The first time I went I didn't have to pee so I ended up waiting there for over an hour chugging water. After that I started chugging water before I went so I'd be bursting at the seams by the time I got there. Go figure they NEVER gave me a UI after that first time, but at least I was prepared.

+1 on lecithin. Great stuff. Lifts the "brain fog" indeed, and as a nice added bonus, it enables you to pop off shots no less impressive than the great Peter North.

edit: I'd recommend the finely ground lecithin granules. Finely ground mixes a bit better with whatever you are shaking it with, so you don't have to choke down what seems like a glass full of boogers using the larger granules.

The only thing that works for me is a nap and a brisk walk. Coffee, etc just keeps we awake but not alert.
