Depends on what you want. If you are looking for a sport/casual watch, which probably you are, you can find some nice Tag Heuer quartz models for a bit over that, say $600 or so. I would recomend something like

Or try atlantictime.com, for a full selection of just about everything. If you want a dress watch, you might look at a Movado, I believe they have some decent watches in that price range.
