New Years Eve - NYC - suggestions?

Thread Starter
Anybody know of a good club/bar/lounge to go to on New Years Eve (in Manhattan)?

I dont feel like going to a house party this year... But i dont want to resort to reading Time Out Magazine and ending up at 40/40 club. I don't usually go to clubs, so i have no idea where to go.

Thanks

I don't know more than what I've pasted here. A friend of mine is going and it looks like the invite list has some cuties.

Please join us in celebrating the end of a sub-par decade and the beginning of a new, by ringing in the new year with us at our private 4000 sq. foot loft in NoHo. Located on the northeast corner of Broadway and Houston, it's an easy train ride in from just about anywhere in the city...and hopefully an even easier stumble out!

Close out 2009 in the same fashion that we spent so many endless nights this year...by getting down and 'Durday' with NYC's own DJ Scott Durday. After the ball drops, we're very excited to have Chuck Inglish of Chicago-based hip hop group The Cool Kids take over the DJ reigns and kick off what is sure to be an amazing 2010.

Location:
Private loft on Broadway and Houston in NoHo.
**Please note exact location with entrance details will be emailed to the address on your PayPal account on December 30.

Ticket Information:
Purchase via PayPal: Send payments to NYEinNoHo@gmail.com (**Please specify your name and the name of any others you are purchasing tickets for)
Pre-Christmas sale of $80 (valid until 11:59PM December 24, 2009)
$100 December 25th to December 30th (11:59PM)
$125 Day of Event, cash only at the door (pending availability)
**All Sales are Final

Wristbands will be provided at the door. Admission gets you full access to all 3 bars which will be serving beer, wine and liquor. Complimentary coat check will be provided as well. And just because we all know how much fun it is spending half the night in line for drinks at those overcrowded, B&T 'all you can drink' parties....ticket sales will be strictly limited to keep things comfy. So we advise purchasing your tickets early!

Of course, we'll have a champagne toast at the strike of midnight and plenty of fun party favors to make you detag each and every single picture that ends up on Facebook.

Please note, a portion of the proceeds will go to Building Young Minds (BuildingYoungMinds.org), benefiting children in the NYC area. Like you needed another reason to come...right?

Looking forward to seeing you there,

Denning, Holly, Brett, Brad, Jon, Amanda and Chris

Planning for NYE never works out. For myself I have acquired some hard drugs and will see where things end up.

I thought GQGeek wrote this at first and was confused by a plan not involving watchin movies alone in your parent's basement.

"end up" is the operative term there.

The world needs more bottoms, anyway.
