I've been watching the discovery everest series on netflix.. and holy shit? the sherpas are amazing. watching them lug heavy ass cameras and run around as dipshit americans struggle to even walk.. shocking

i just stayed up for 5 hours watching this series. fucking intense. some of the helmet cam shots as they're descending from the summit.. holy. shit.

that's like being impressed at how much better than a sherpa a dipshit american is at navigating rush hour traffic in Los Angeles. They live at those altitudes so the lack of "normal" levels of oxygen do not phase them since their bodies are designed to work at that altitude. They have a huge physiological advantage.

That said, I do have a lot of respect for these people; but your comparison is a little, coarse.

My employee is a Sherpa and hes a fucking machine. He is never late, can put in a 15 hour day without issue, and he cares about the business. I couldnt ask for more from him.
