Madras is one of my favorite things. Here are a few that I've had at one time or another. I'm not really a fan of madras pants, but can tolerate them. It's hard to beat a long sleeved button up Indian madras shirt...

I like madras. I especially liked the long sleeve, BD madras shirts I used to get in the early 70's. In the later 70's RL made some with wonderful, rich color combinations.

Not cut like BBBF. It is baggier, as madras should be. It is S/M/L sizing.

FWIW, I wear a 15.5x34 in regular BB OCBDs and I wear a small in these LEs.

The fabric on minez is very different from all of my other Polo shirts. Perhaps, not tattered enough yet, tho.

That doesn't make it madras ... the fabric on madras shirts is quite thin, and is a loose weave (image a thinner OCBD type cloth in a loose weave). I have seen and handled a similar RL shirt like the one you posted -and I don't think it is madras fabric. One way to tell is from seeing how strong the colors are - actual madras shirts have kind of muted colors, not 'bright' if you understand what I mean.
