Not sure it's a real Madras fabric, but it's still a light, single-ply, low threadcount fabric.

The shirt is in transit and I should receive it next week. It's a little late for this season, especially here in Montreal, but I'm sure there will be a few more hot days before autumn really kicks in. We just had a full week of *really* warm weather ... that shirt would have been perfect.


That is indeed madras fabric and a very good one at that. Looks really, really nice nadim.

question, how do you wear these? I've never had anything quite like them, but I think that they are cool, and might be a good addition to a casual wardrobe

It can be worn under a sweater I just like wearing 'em year round, but you are right -- they are the best for summer.
