what kinda loot did you get? - Page 4

God, ya'll some rich mofo's. I only asked for a merkur HD and brush, both of which I got and was happy with. I knew that if I didnt say something Id get some random stuff that I hated.

Then mom upped the ante and got me a GPS, which in my opinion is totally pointless and will be an obsolete gizmo in 2 years, but whatever. She was proud and I dont have the heart to tell her that. I used it this weekend and it will probably go right back in the box. Then some ill fitting IZOD clothes and other dumb crap that will need to be returned.

The chick Im seeing got me a rubiks cube and a shower radio/mirror. WTF?

I'm too much of a pussy to shoot a large, furry animal but for some reason have no qualms about blasting the shit out of a bird. Never really liked birds.

Ed, I'm guessing an ostrich is hard to bring down - they're all feathers, and the head is a little moving target. Plus, I don't wear ostrich shoes - too small time.

Speaking of shooting, my wife got me a session of botox with "one of NY's best shooters." So much for my Fred Ward wrinkly good looks. lefty

To me, bird hunting is fun. Sitting still and quiet in a deer blind in cold-as-hell weather is not fun to me.

Also, I have great memories of getting a Browning 12-gauge pump shotgun for Christmas when I was in 7th grade.

my wife is loving her gps navigator. lots of fun for her. she gets lost all the time looking for homes to buy. so happy for her

will definitely serve her well in the next couple of years. hopefully we'll get a home before a year though. at that point it will have served its purpose fully

I got a very nice print of a farm that my father and I hunt pheasants at in South Dakota. Going on my office wall. I also gave my self the gift of 3 or 4 days of world class deer hunting in Illinois. I saw 68 deer yesterday afternoon.

If you need a deer blind and/or a auto feeder you are doin it wrong.

It was a banner freakin year at the B-----tt House, You know what I got? A. CARTON. OF. CIGARETTES!

Actually, I got money from the parents and a flash card for my DS and a few random kitchen things from my GF since she waited for the last minute to do her Christmas/birthday shopping for me. I think I may be able to squeeze her into buying me a new pair of shoes since my ankle boots cause my left foot to bleed occasionally.

Patagonia Jacket, several books on food, wine and travel, a copy of Playboy, a purple cashmere scarf, tequila, a Camelback. My wife loves to fill up my stocking with fun sweets, especially British chocolates. The only bad thing were the ugly baggy flannel boxers that have already been disposed of.

I had the most fun giving a unusual gift to my new son-in-law. They were married in Mexico in May and everyone stayed at one small hotel. I had asked the owner for one of their bar aprons that had this huge, beautiful embroidery. It was an instant reminder of many days of fun and celebration with lots of friends at the hotel. It was a big hit. He couldn't wait to wear it around his friends and family who had been there.
