I was browsing The New Republic's website and saw a section called "TNR on Jazz" on the homepage. This is new and the headline was un-clickable. Here are some of the articles featured...they are, for the most part, fascinating. 1.) Ken Burns' massacring of jazz history: http://www.tnr.com/article/books-and...arvin-the-bird 2.) Michele Petrucciani: http://www.tnr.com/article/keys-the-kingdom 3.) "Bop Brotherhood" (Charlie Parker and his hard-partying contemporaries): http://www.tnr.com/article/books-and...op-brotherhood 4.) "Strength in Swing:" Importance of jazz in New Orleans 5.) Anita O'Day profile: http://www.tnr.com/article/heroine-0
