Is there a word for "or questions"?

Have you ever been sitting around with a friend or someone you're just getting to know, and you start questioning each other, e.g.: Ford or Chevy? Chocolate or Vanilla? Mary Ann or Ginger? Etc. Is there a unique word or term for this kind of "or" questioning?

There is a word for it, I know what you mean... I think it's a phrase of sorts like "pick and choose," "either/or question", etc but that's not right.

Oh and that was very anti-climactic when your link didn't work... it's too bad, I love it when trolls get shut down like that. Just be aware that half of the posters on this forum are obese teenagers alone in their rooms, so just don't respond to them.

Svenn, thanks very much for the info. Thanks also to those who PM'd me. What a case this West24 is. His posting history is amazing. I'm guessing really fat and lonely, or a severe meth addict and lonely.

This video will answer your question--really, it answers a lot of questions. "either you're a coca-cola person or a pepsi guy."
