How do you avoid curdling the cream with the citrus...?

We used to have some persimmon trees at our old house. The tannins in unripe persimmons are though.

I would love a persimmon tree. I would also love a fig tree - they are so great fresh but I can never find them that way around me.

I've never been big into figs. I don't know if I've ever actually had them. They might have been dates, might have been figs. Another great fruit is the Korean/Asian pear. When they're good, they're almost unbeatable.

When I lived in Africa, I ate quite a bit of grated carrots with chopped up pineapple and some other fruit that was just about always served at lunch with other things like vegetables and meat. I did like it very much and I have recently started to eat pineapple with sweet potatoes and fish, like sardines or tuna.

The hard part is having the patients to wait for them to ripen, they seem to take forever!

I make a salad similar to this. Its grated carrots, pineapple, raisins, apples and bananas dressed with orange juice, pineapple juice, a touch or rum and sweetened with just a little bit of sugar.

Oh, my bad. Just put a bunch of chopped BH in the cream, bring the mixture up to a boil or at least a simmer, then turn it off and just let it sit for a few hours or overnight.

Buddha's Hand has very little flesh, no juice at all, and very often has no seeds. It's more perfumey/fragrant.. It won't curdle the cream b/c it has no acid.

Sounds good! What do you do with it then?

I'm walking through the jungle gathering mangoes. I meet Raquel Welch. I make a nice mango cream pudding. Kinda spread it around us. I wanna get some mangoes.

Use it in ice cream, or sauces, put it in a fruity green tea, etc.

^ My favorite apple.

Personally clementines are a Christmas staple and pomegranates too.
