So you regret getting the Savile?

Disclosure: I own the Savile but not the Weymouth.

Both look nice, but I'd go with the Weymouth if I could only get one.

Good evening,

I wanted to know how the 337 last for C & J compare to the 8000 last for John Lobb; comparable? I am thinking about getting the Weymouth, but don't have an option to try on before I order...

Anyone have shoes in both lasts and know how they compare?

Thanks in advance

I have both and the CJ is a little bit longer by about a half centimeter. Overall, they fit about the same to me

I have the Sheldon which is the Polo branded Saville by C&J. Same shoe. I also have a barker black wholecut. Comparing the two styles, I would say that the monk is much more versatile and can be worn with everything from jeans to suits, whereas I believe the Weymouth wholecut would be relegated to more formal duty. I also happen to think the Saville is one of the nicest single strap monks there is.

FWIW, and people's feet differ, but I wear the same size in both the CJ 337 last and 8000 JL last, i.e. 10UK E, and I am a fairly solid US 11D.
