Question for realtors in AZ

Or in the US in general, if the legislation is federal.

Here is the situation:
-I am not a realtor;
-I am in Canada;
-I have a US contact who wants to buy some AZ real estate on behalf of an overseas entity;
-I have a realtor in AZ to facilitate the transaction.

Can the realtor give me a kick-back for the referral?

Looks like the fact pattern question on a Conflict of Laws exam. (really, they seem to often involve realty and commissions to the out of jurisdiction "agent")
