Diagonal striped shirts

Hi Everyone, This is my first time posting, but I've been an avid reader of the forum for the past 6 months. The site has definitely heightened my fashion awareness and introduced me to a ton of new brands that I probably wouldn't have been exposed to otherwise. It's also been an excellent place to kill time while at work. I'm writing because I've been having a bit of trouble finding slim-fitted diagonally striped dress shirts.  I've seen them occasionally here, primarily at trendier bars/clubs, and would really like to pick up a couple.  I've discovered Etro shirts (with help from this forum) and really like the fit, but am looking for something a bit more conservative in terms of color selection (i.e. stripes that are further apart and maybe in just 1-2 similar colors vs. the pink/orange/lime green that I've seen on many etro shirts).  I'd ideally like something I could wear with jeans or wool pants and chelsea boots straight from the office to a club on a friday (I work at an investment bank with a very casual Friday policy).   Also, I live in San Francisco, so if anyone can recommend any stores in the area, it would be an added plus.  Thanks

Catch-22: Check out the Hugo Boss shirts at Sak's. Just saw some fitting your description Thurs. night...Not sure on the fit, however. Message me if you'd like the name of the sales person I usually deal with. And Neiman's has some dynamite Paul Smiths which have the fit you're looking for, and a huge selection, but horizontal stripes rather than diagonal. I know Button Down carries Etro, but haven't been there in a  month or so, so I'm not sure what they have currently in stock.

I've been trying to remember where I saw diagonal-stripe shirts in San Francisco and SteveB brought it back to my mind. They have them at Buttondown. Great store - definitely worth a visit.

I saw some diagonal types on Kennethcole.com as well as on yoox.com. I can't remember the designer on yoox, but the shirt was maybe more like the Etro ones you mentioned.

Thanks for all the great suggestions guys. I fully intend to visit all the aforementioned stores/sites and will let you know how it turns out.  Now if only I could get off of work before midnight.
