Not necessarily the greatest, but I really like going to the Lateran. When I've been in Rome, I've found myself going there at odd hours two or three times during the trip, or when I was passing by.

I've always been fond of Winchester. It's quite sad that so many of the English cathedrals are a shadow of their former selves. We can thank the Protestants for ruining much of the beauty within these structures.

I thought if asked this question I would choose something old from Europe until last month I went to Rio de Janerio and saw Catedral De Sao Sebastio. It is stunning. Only downside it was paid for by a petrol company. It's one of the few modern buildings that has made me catch my breathe. I wanted to stay for an hour or two just to watch the changing light.

The stained glass in the National Cathedral in Washington is some of the most beautiful I've seen.

Plus, it has a Darth Vader gargoyle.

Without a doubt one of the world's ugliest buildings.
