Due to the snowstorm yesterday I had to rebook my flight. Now I have to fly into Reagan National and somehow get to Dulles where my vehicle will be parked. My flight will get in at 10:20 pm, Dec. 29 at National. what are my options of getting to Dulles... without paying a weeks salary for taxi fare?

Paying 4/5ths of a week's salary for a car service?

Seriously, if you call ahead, you should be able to have a car service pick you up and drive you relatively cheaply and without the hassles of using public transportation which of course, is another option.

Washington Flyer offers a taxi service between the airports. Check with travelers aid in the airport when you arrive.

The shuttle bus leaves the metro station at 10:45 pm.......with a 10:20 pm arrival I highly doubt that I would make it.

I had a co-worker that had to do the same thing, and he said the Super Shuttle was his best alternative at the time.

There is a direct shuttle between the two airports. Just google it, I am sure there will be information.

local train????? maybe I have been missing something but I wasn't aware any type of rail commuter makes it all the way out to Dulles International Airport. The Metro will in a few years but not now. what is this "local train" you speak of?

You are correct. He's likely thinking about BWI.

Sorry for my confusion, I flew into BWI and took a train to Union Station. Original post deleted.
