Pretty sure flights are moving thru RDU; just not ones going north/northeast. In fact, I took someone to RDU today.

This would be a great time to take a trip to New Orleans.

Perhaps the indigo fumes have gotten to your head. Since when does frustration with the effects of a problem indicate ignorance that the problem exists?

It was just lovely today out here in California. However, I'm supposed to be in New York.

We have the reverse problem, then. Except, you don't really have a problem.

you seem shocked that in the aftermath of a very large storm airline customer service might be swamped

it sucks but, uh, duh?

I'm not shocked, just unpleasantly aware.

The situation could only be made worse if California finally fell into the ocean.

...No wait, that would make it better.

Maybe if you both wish upon the same shooting star at the same time, a Christmas miracle will come true and you two will switch places.

SoCal had spring-like weather today. It was quite lovely, even warm walking around under the sun in a sweater.

Good luck Foo. Rest assured, you're not the only one dealing with this headache.

A large storm should affect customer service, but not make it completely unavailable for the entire day. Conti's 800 # was unavailable all day yesterday. I was able to reach AA customer service easily. Edit: The internet speed at RDU airport is f'in awful.

That is rough. I'm flying into a forecasted snow storm on Christmas eve. Not looking forward to that.
