Done with strength/hypertrophy training for a bit...gettin a little too beefy for my frame, especially in the leg area. Gonna focus on athleticism a bit more and maybe do a slight cut; I downloaded enter the kb and infinite intensity. Not sure which will be better for my goals. Any suggestions?

Do what you want, but you have good lifts and worked hard to get there. I would have second thoughts about abandoning that in favor of wearing a specific fit with cut off shorts and a tight tank top. Wally / otter criticized you and commended that mellonjello guy who has the WORST PROPORTIONS OF ANY OTHER POSTER with brizabirch a close second. How anyone can stand to look at, let alone comment on, mj's horrible eyesore fits is completely beyond me.

hahaha it wasn't WAYWT-inspired. It was actually my little brother, who hasn't seen me in a while. He was like "you're pretty big bro, you look good but don't beef up any more." Anyway, I don't want to have to buy any more clothes for a while--I can fill out hanes M's and i'm happy with that. I just worry that if i keep messing with 5/3/1 i'll just keep beefing up further and further, mostly because I'm not that careful about my diet beyond "eat when hungry, get lots of protein." Maybe I'll just cut the assistance volume and do boring but big, but I really like feeling "athletic" after being such a weenie for most of my life. I realized I could jump really high from all the squats and I was like "fuck yeah!"

Your brother's just hating man I would just keep it basic like you're thinking and go for some athletic activity Once you get in a groove lifting "aint nothin but a peanut"... I have an annual cycle figured out... hulk up in the winter, cut + condition through spring, play sports through summer/early fall. The shifts in focus keep things interesting. Point of all this being I guess you don't have to stop lifting to get active.

Fucking Jesus, 5/3/1 w/ BBB is fucking insane on deadlift/squat days. After dling for my max >3 rep weight at 305, I went down to 155 for my 5 sets of 10 reps. I was so done by that point that the sets didn't put hair on my balls, they put balls on my hair.

If you stay true to the ebook (not necessary but), then 5/3/1 your big lifts and do hill sprints for conditioning.

re: eason

A lot of people drop the BBB idea for dl / sq day and do triumvirate or some variation instead.

I don't post in SW&D WAYWT because some of the people are just retarded, I can't post without people telling me about how my upper body is huge compared to my legs and how fucked my proportions are. I had some guy ask me what kind of gear I use because of how big my chest is, when im like a 38 or a small 40 at most and my bench press is my smallest lift by far, its under half my dead. Then I have skinny goth ninja pricks telling me I should try squats and deadlifts to make my legs bigger when Im pulling 300lb.

you're pulling 300? just curious as I'm pulling 305 for 5 reps and I got big legs, makes me feel weak.

300 for a 1rm, I usually do working sets at 250lb.

Messed with KB swings today from my downloaded copy of Enter the KB. Had a couple form issues that I googled, but otherwise i'm getting the hang of it (did around 100 alternating one handed swings with a 35 lb kb) Holy shit, I've never felt closer to puking in a workout since I tried BBB on squat day. I might just keep doing 5/3/1 with a "BBB" or "I aint doin' shit" work with KB swings/turkish getups as conditioning instead of hill springs (as mentioned above). It might be overwork...we'll see how up for lifting I am tomorrow.

So your DL hasn't moved up in a while... are you still bulking or what's the deal?

I haven't been to the gym in like 2 months, may was on and off because I was really ill and I haven't been at all this months because of exams. Its probably gone down since I've lost like 12 pounds.

Infinite intensity kicks ass. There are endless ideas you can derive from the book. The GPP protocols are especially killer. Can't recommend it highly enough if fitness is the goal.
