Did you consider the fact that the bar would be much stronger/higher quality than a typical gym bar, and thus bend less? I've no dog in this fight and I'm not arguing one way or another, but just sayin'. If that's the sole basis of your argument--that the bar isn't bending enough--that's not a good argument.

Good oly bars generally bend more! They just don't stay deformed
