Was actually surprised at my gym this week. Not too busy so far. Just the usual guys you recognize by sight but have no idea what their names are.

Finally got my trainer set up in the apartment. Routine-ish cardio, here I come!

Did some today watching archer. Good times.

Same situation at my gym. All the same familiar faces.

It's really not that bad once you get a routine going. Did you get a fluid trainer or a magnetic one... I want to sell my fluid and go mag.

Anyone use Tongkat Ali before?

I'm reading good things. It's sopose to increase T levels.

Also, I should be getting a vitamix soon. I wonder how I'm going to drink so much. I imagine in the mornings my new routine will be to have a cup of coffee, then oats/whey blend, then a green smoothie.

I absolutely love my vitamix. I like including Tera's whey products with my smoothies. Here's a classic that I use:

- 2-4 cups earthbound farms organic baby spinach (I buy those prepackaged ones since I can't be bothered to wash them myself)
- 1 banana (or half if solo) - frozen is creamier
- 1 cup of frozen fruit
- 1 greek yogurt (match to frozen fruit if flavored)
- 1-2 scoops of protein
- 1 cup of almond milk plus
- 1 cup of water or a bunch of ice, depending on how cold you want your smoothie

If you're a neophyte, you might want some grapes or a date to sweeten it. If you're more hardcore you can venture into kale as well, although baby spinach is much easier on the palate.

I like to have a base of banana, mango, or avocado in my smoothies. If I don't do one of those, it can still work, but tends to be more watery, and never has the same sort of yum factor.

You can probably mix some of the oats into the green smoothie. My morning breakfast shake had a bunch of granola/cereal in it to thicken it up.

It's hard to get a routine going when the class schedule and demands are hella variable.

I have an old cyclops fluid 2 that still works. I wish it was quieter but the resistance feels very good, just like it used to. I kinda wish I had rollers since they're quieter, but I'd probably die since I'm really out of cycling shape right now.

I had a Vitamix before, so I know what I'm getting into. I'm very much part of the Vitamix cult. My parents have one from the 70s and still use it almost daily. I've done green smoothies in inexpensive blenders before and there is indeed a difference. The texture is more fiberous and it separates quickly. I also use spinach over kale. My current grocery store has pre-washed collard greens and I'm eager to try that. It's a very dark leafy green, but it's not rough on the tongue like kale is.

You might want to try kefir if you want to save time.

My normal smoothie is:
-Spinach
-Banana
-Carrot
-Celery
-Almond milk
-Juice from lemon

The lemon juice is just enough from keeping that green bite away. I also prep all this on Sunday, so throughout the week I just dump all this into the Vitamix from a sandwich bag, add the almond milk, squeeze the lemon, and that's it.

Same for me. Was training 4 times in this year and at my times it was exactly the same people as usually. I expected a bit of a rush, especially seeing how the gym handed out these "bring a friend for 6 times in 3 weeks" vouchers late December. I'm not gonna complain.

Struggle to find a spot that works for the trainer is realll.

Living room is too loud. Spare bedroom upstairs is too loud. Haven't tried my room yet due to space and setup etc, but have a feeling that's going to be too loud as well.

Ugh living with people that are students too and never leave the house...
