Fall cold is going around the office and I am one of the lucky winners. I'm shutting down the studio for a week. Relieved to see my gains are still in place after ~3 days of not lifting. Hoping I don't revert to a 120lb 7th grader by this weekend.

Haven't lifted in 6 weeks and I look a tiny bit flatter

18lbs total weight loss from that cold. Still can't lift due to the chest infection. 3 weeks down and starting to lose my mind! :(

If I can stay at 210 and regain the strength losses I'll be delighted tho!

Which RHET members are still lifting other then conceptionist? Thread barely moving. Starting full time at a strategy consulting firm whilst finishing my final year of undergrad so good night sweet leisure time/ever lifting for a long time. Bought a suit off the rack and the trousers and jacket both fit, it was a shit feel.

Just started again. I have four bank presentations today (UBS, Lazard, Houlihan Lokey, JPMC), two classes, have to prep for a networking meeting that's tomorrow, and have homework to work on. Also have to do my laundry. I won't even get home until 9 so I'll be hitting the gym up at like 10pm. Longgggggg day. Insane week, actually. Have a half day of classes tomorrow, RBC/ BAML tomorrow, and have to figure out how to get up to midtown for a coffee chat. Recruiting season is nuts.

Why'd you get out of banking?

I haven't, just doing it whilst i'm at uni for money. Have had final rounds at 2 of the first 4 banks you listed recently. Should be hearing back tomorrow. I never go to those presentations, in England you just apply online. Recruiting is fucking shit you're right.

We have lunch presentations and evening corporate presentations. Then we have to go do coffee chats where we meet one on one with bankers. If you don't go to the events they could cut you for not being on the attendee list. It's ridiculous. Averaging 4 lunches and 4 corporate presentations per week for the next couple weeks.

Well, seems I'll be back studying for another degree in statistics at the beginning of next year while working and (trying) to lift as much as I do now. Prob no free time.

The last months I've been working at a marketing analytics company, but imo the really interesting roles are for the statisticians, while I on the other hand was a business economics major. Atm it would've been more useful to have majored in stats, economics or something quant. Anyway, since I've had an interest in statistics for a while and don't have anything against studying more I might as well get another degree. The company has offered me a position on the analysis team during the studies as well. The shitty part is that I need to study math one or two terms before I start with the stats.

The same foods as I always eat with lower total kcals and carbs because of no physical activity.

Got a 6 quart crockpot, I googled recipes for hours but everything looked either too complicated with too many ingredients or too high sodium/carbs. What's something relatively simple I can make in bulk, as in enough macros to last me 3-4 days? A whole chicken with a bunch of soup vegetables? I read chuck steak has too much fat and hard to calculate macros. I don't wanna buy stock cuz of high sodium.

Chicken breasts, can or two of crushed tomatoes, a bunch of spices and then in the last hour throw in whatever veggies you want.

The simplest method is just using chicken and some stock as a base then you can pretty much make whatever flavour you want through spices, herbs and veggies.

Slow cookers and crock pots are life-changing.
