I don't know how anyone goes two sizes down in SBD sleeves. I went with the correct size, granted I'm on the upper end of the range, and they feel like casts. I suppose they'll loosen up with wear.

Big calfs?

I couple years ago at IPF world comp some guys used plastic bags (as they do to get on equipment like bench shirts) to get on size XS despite being something like an XL, weighing 230+.

There's actually tutorials on youtube on how to get them on. I sized down one and have no problem if I fold them over first.

I'm still confused about the purpose of knee sleeves.

Ha yea, thus leading to the implementation of the "you must be able to put on your own knee sleeves" rule.

I have decent calfs, but the bulk of my quad / hamstring mass begins higher up the femur than most I suppose, so my knee joint circumference may not have been the best measurement for sizing.

In competition I can definitely see sleeves adding 20-25 lbs to a squat if sized down. For me, the compression helped my right knee track better. I spent less time releasing my VMO/adductors and squatted completely pain free anyway.

 +1

I get about 25 lbs from my SBDs. Use some thinner sleves in training snice I don't want to get help in the bottom position, then I put on the SBDs at comp and get a boost. Knee sleeves have helped a lot for my achey knees. Must use them + an ointment when I train.

20 more lbs, let's see if I can get that down to 15 before moving.

Today a twat came into my gym trying to blast the pads hard and show off. The owner didn't like that: https://www.facebook.com/Phantasticstan/videos/920860154651499/

Tried to "budget" my food this month because past few months I've been in the $500-600 range. Already at $430 for the month and I've only ate out once... Pisses me off. Having some muscle on you is an expensive engine to feed.

Welcome back Jarude, best of luck getting into the swing of things.

Frilly is more of an exception in regards to lifting weights while wearing an Explorer for example, but hey, he's always been ,,, exceptional LOL.

I see nothing at all wrong with picking up a nice functional G, or a Monster, or Timex for the appropriate occasions.

I am also exceptionally fond of "Predator" (1987), so I take every chance to recreate the classic "Dillon! You son of a..." scene.  Guess I am Schwarzenegger by default in this pic...

Also, "Dillon" is wearing a Hublot.

Of course he is.

This is me and Shane Battier a few months ago.  He's wearing a Shinola:

Also, purple pants!  Boom.
