Working on a billion dollar deal at work that should really help pad my resume. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Bro I had cellulitis that caused a 104 fever, a three week recovery and then sprained my ankle last weekend and it's more swollen now than it was last weekend. I haven't been to the gym in like a month

Back from vacation. Back to muay thai. Will go under the knife if I can't get rid of the fat in 2 more months.

Checked my bank balance for the first time in a while yesterday. Realised I'm legit poor right now. Going to try live on $2 a day until I start my internship. Yesterday I ate 1.25kg of boiled potatoes and 150g of whey. If genuine poverty people can live on $1 a day I can do $2.

eggs are surprisingly expensive in england like $0.30 each. I feel like this is the perfect time to cut, i'm too poor to afford to cheat.

Nice!!. I finally got my chin up bar and dip set up in my basement only to find the parallel bars don't fit. I'll get a picture up later.

Nice!!

I have my own home gym as well... in october will be six years old and I can't say but good things about it... I just LOVE IT. If you like working out you don't need a gym membership to get in good shape... people are generally just lazy and need to pay to feel guilty in case they miss a training day, but if you like it you'll train anywhere, anytime...

Question on 5/3/1 routine....

On the last set of each major compound lift (OHP, Squat, D/L, BP), you can do the minimum (5,3,1) depending on the week or can exceed that limit? Is this correct?

Example, on the third week instead of doing one rep at 95%, I could do 8-12 reps assuming I had the energy?

Routine I'm considering running:

Thanks

Yeah. The final set is meant to be as many reps as possible, but Wendler advocates leaving one in the tank. If it's your 5+ week and you've been progressing slow and steady, you should be able to get at least 5 reps on a bad day (or maybe even 9 on a good day).

Yea I am really happy with it. Just got a window AC for that room as well. Gonna stick with the gym on work days through the end of my cut just cause I'm used to it, but I'm doing my weekend workouts at home now.

Big thing is wifey hates commercial gyms so now we can both get a nice full workout. She's excited. Put together a pretty nice program for her too.

Is it normal to feel emotional about switching gyms?
