Strong case of this. Subconscious says "eat that, you earned it" but that would probably get me fat really quick. So I read and bookmarked that article about bulking that was posted in the thread some days ago. Still not 100% decided how to do it.

I think that competition idea here was really motivating. Even if you can't make win or top 3 or top 10 or whatever, it gets you mentally charged on staying on track. It's just too fucking easy to cheat on yourself because no one will ever know that that cookie in the calorie log was in reality half a cheesecake. We all gonna make it, brahs!

Now I'm ready to go to Vegas next weekend and hang around the MGM Grand pool, hunting for ratchet sloots icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

After a period of losing fat by calorie restriction, e.g. cutting, a caloric surplus while lead to mostly fat gains.
So going straight back to a typical bulk right now will make you gain back the fat you have lost.
For insance, bodybuilders often gain back a lot of fat the weeks after a comp if they are not strict with calories.

If you want to go back to a surplus, do it slow and gradually.

Also, to minimize fat gains you want to eat somewhat low on the fat in relation to carbs, since fat eaten in a caloric surplus is stored as bodyfat. Was one study on BBers where they found the good macro ratio for a caloric surplus to be around 50-60% carbs, 10-15% fat, 25-40% protein or something along those lines.

It will look like you're making massive gains but that's mainly just glycogen coming back and the associated water weight. You'll look huge for about a month until you start putting fat on again.

But if you're going on any bulk - not just a dreamer bulk - you're going to put on a bit of fat so don't worry too much.

Real lean brah. The bicep game isnt bad at all if anything id say the pec shape is whatever

I need to start dropping the cals a bit more. Weightloss has plateaud but strength has improved a decent amount at this caloric level. Just did ATG squats earlier today 305lbs easy. Probably could have done more but it was one of those weird fixed racks so i had to squat outside of the cage and didnt have a spot if i started failing

I started incorporating more stop at parrellel to hit the hammies more and just added more hammy work in general. Might be representative of that effort more than anything else

Trying to eat clean

Can't do anything about those wide birthing hips. Lower bf will probably help mask nature cruel joke.

I still haven't found a way to cook large amounts of chicken breast except for fajitas that makes them tolerable. I've also noticed that I get hungry faster compared to eating pork/fish probably cuz chicken has no fat.

I cook about 10lbs of boneless chicken thighs a week

My FIL just brought some marinated chicken breasts over though, and I grilled em over coal. They came out damn good.

Lol.
I'm gonna study stats next fall and take enough classes for a bsc. We don't have much focus on stochastic processes though. That is usually under mathematical statistics instead. Regular statistics seems to be more analysis of variance, regression, inference, econometrics and such at my uni. More applied. A regular statistics major doesn't even include a single pure math class. The students have to learn that on the side as the stats theory gets more complex.
