Do you want ants? Because that's how you get ants... cleaned the whole apartment yesterday super deep, woke up to fucking ants in my bedroom... hundreds... apparently there is a gap into the brick bellow the deco bar where the floor meets the wall next to my bed. Gave them the spray treatment, probably killed 500 by now, will buy a trap tomorrow and buy silicon to seal up the crack.

Congrats, TeeKay.

Hopefully you are not using Raid or some other nasty spray shit. My exterminator once told me it's best to use a combo of some kind of disinfectant such as Lysol and a diluted solution of bleach and water somewhere between a 1:2 and 1:1 ratio. You really don't want that other stuff in your house… good luck!

Congrats brah. Bout to pop the question to my girl soon. Currently ring shoppin'. Most nerve racking part is gonna be asking her dad (even tho I know he'll be cool with it).

Sweet man, good luck! The ring shopping was pretty stressful. At first, I wanted to check out brick and mortar shops but after some looking found there was much better value online. Chat with dad was intimidating...decided to do it with her whole family present to ease things(but he was obvs cool with it too).

This shoulder thing is pissing me off...

Worked out for a week with no issues. Climbed yesterday with no issues. Climbed today and it started hurting by the second wall. No idea wtf is going on. I guess I'll have to go see a doc after all to see why it's flaring up and what strengthening stuff i should do....

Lol my girlfriends dad can suck my dick. Her mom knows and is very excited so I'm all good on that front. This weekend I brought my girl ring shopping and now I know exactly what she wants which makes my life pretty easy.

Congrats TK. Bleh we did the whole "capture the moment on FB" thing. I wish I could delete it now. Ring shopping was easy as well. Just went down to the district. Old lady jeweler mispriced a ring and tried to steer me another way after I paid. No thanks. Thought I got a good deal until last year when the stone fell out at an amusement park facepalm.gif

All I did this weekend was refeed. I think I had about 3/4 a box of baked brownies.

Currently heading to Jefferson. Unsure if I'd pick UMass over it, but it might be much cheaper.

Very interesting interview with Sheiko for those interested in strength programming.

Some quotes:

Quote:
In Russia, we have Children and Youth Sports Schools. The majority of such schools have a powerlifting section, which takes children aged 11-13 years. Coaches working in these sections have a salary and get bonuses for the achievements of their students (certain ranks or placing high at Russian/European/World Championships).
Quote:
Many coaches in powerlifting try to create a foundation with the help of large volumes. They plan 5-12 lifts per set. With so many lifts, the intensity would not be more than 70-75%. If one also factors in warm-up weights between 50-60%, that means overall intensity per week or month will be no more than 63-65%. As a result, the body adapts to low-intensity work, which has a different nature than competition requirements. Despite a foundation built upon large volumes, the desired effect is not achieved.
Quote:
Every athlete wants to lift as much as he can at any competition. If the coach lets him to do it, the athlete will almost certainly get injured.
