So yes. I'm still weak sauce but I'm happy I'm making progress while cutting.
You are 152 lbs you are strong as fuck for your weight. Don't downplay your victories. Congrats dude it's a great milestone.

48 hour sous vide chuck tender roast. It was good but honestly it would've been a lot better without that line of gristle that runs through it. Texture was super tender though--I'll probably do it again but carve out some faux filet mignons (the taste is pretty similar too).

Also it was hard to get even browning in a dry pan. Will attempt more of a shallow fry next time.

Weight it - like but a foil wrapped brick on there while browning.

the problem with that is that you squeeze out the juices.

This made me think, there are definitely 110-120 lb girls who are good at boxing or kickboxing who could murder me. You made me feel emasculated first thing in the morning. thanks a lot Coldsnap.

I am curious, do all of you divide the year between bulking and cutting?? I try to be at same weight/size all year round... although some months are more difficult than others.

I pretty much bulked for 3+ years straight and now I am at a point where it's mostly maintaining weight or cutting. The only reason I have to cut is I tend to eat like a pig during the holiday season and drink like a fish during the summer so calories really add up.

hahaha I feel you, man. Sometimes I go on eating binges for no reason. Last time was when I got the flu a couple of monthgs ago, I couldn't work out (had no strength at all) and next thing I know I am chewing down M&Ms, Doritoes, all sort of sweets and candy and what not... I bet I put on like 5 pounds in just a week LOL

But I try to keep my frame as it is most of the time. I still have the same waist size I had in High School (although my quads and glutes are a lot bigger) and I will try to keep my body as it is for as long as I can... One year I tried the bulking thing but even though eating like there is no tomorrow is nice I saw myself on pictures and did not like what I saw AT ALL... and I had a hard time playing some sports (carrying all that extra weight)... and having to buy tons of new clothes and all...

Now I am in a place where I am truly happy with my body as it is. I have found my balance to look the way I want with and  without clothes (which sometimes it is not an easy task).

Pretty perfect way to describe how I handle my life as someone who likes being in shape but loves food much more.

I don't diet, just eat as clean as posible as regularly as I can (which is not always possible). I don't weight  my food, don't count calories, etc... but I keep active and try to acquire as many good habits as possible.

Anyways, I just never thought there would be many bodybuilders in SF :)
