Something different. What is the best way to take pics to see what one actually really looks like? I have selfies in every stadium from looking like shit to being totally satisfied. It's kinda the equivalent of me getting up one day feeling like THIS.IS.SPARTAAA! and the next day getting up and thinking about quitting working out because I look/feel like I make no progress.

This was yesterday at the gym

I've also decided to not lose any weight per se anymore. I'll try to hold this weight until June, so I'll go up a bit with the kcal but stick with 25g carbs a day. I'd like to lose some fat while getting a bit more quality mass. Wonder if this would work out as a recompose. I know myself good enough that bulk would mean I'd go full potato and stuff every shit in my face I can find.

Ugh 25g carbs a day. I can imagine how shitty the workouts feel.

What are the rules for the aesthetics contest?

Will there be natty and nonnatty categories? Manlet and nonmanlet?

Are there standard posed photos for judging(front relaxed, the crab, back double bi)

Yeah. Total grind but I try to stay motivated because I tell myself the results are worth it. I also take VPX Redline White Heat as PWO and that really gets you going with the 400mg caffeine. Downside is that I feel kina squeezed dry when I train so I struggle with getting close to blacking out when doing stuff like 3RM/1RM on deadlifts.
Strength is keeping on the same level so far though.

Yes. I respond way better to Low Carb than to just going into caloric deficit. Also when I have the choice to reduce carbs or fat I'll reduce carbs so I can snack on hardboiled eggs, italien air-dried salami and stuff like that which is really making you feel full and doesn't lead me to crazy binge eating like chips, chocolate, sorbet and the shit I would use as treats if I could eat carbs.

I started doing PT stretching during rest periods. It's much better use of your time than staring off into space/playing with your phone.

Man the prospect of keto sounds like a nightmare to me. Id rather cut protein than carbs. Plus all that salt would fuck with my blood pressure. I usually have a candy bar or a sleeve of graham crackers or w/e every couple of days to satiate my sweet tooth... that's usually enough, especially since I usually have to earn it with cardio. Different strokes.

I tried going keto late last year so that I could see my abs all the time; it was a pain in the ass, literally, as I ran into some issues with constipation. Maybe just me, but I needed some more fiber from carbs to keep regular. That said, i definitely shed pounds and dropped to about 8% body fat, which was almost extreme. Definitely is easier to binge out on carbs, but if you keep them whole grain, differentiate, and not go with bottomless anything you should be good.

Just use psyllium husk. Easy fix.

Back from NYC. Had a great time. Hit up some great restaurants and ate my face off, but walked enough that my gf actually lost weight and I probably did too. Gonna have to find a place in Manhattan for a couple months which will be interesting.

Cut starts today, gonna do it right this time. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Inb4 szeph wins the aesthetics contest because he's the only contestant with abs.

Most successful blast yet, putting on a lot of size without any fat it seems. Could be because it's after a month of not really lifting whilst I was in thailand, but I'm also training much higher volume and frequency. Not focusing on strength work so much just getting that pump. medium tren very low test.

Gahdammit i need to start hitting legs more regularly. My tights posts are all lose again. I think I've lost some mass in my quads and glutes. Sigh. So boring though when you can't do the fun stuff.

Where did you eat and drink?

I drank my way across a town with 18 breweries on Saturday. Also ate this thing "the glutton"... and the skirt steak sandwich, blueberry pizza, and house pizza you can see on the menu. And about another 5-6 lbs of junk food.

Meanwhile, I made Minestrone soup with Arborio Rice and sous vide shrimp scampi

my girlfriend demanded we also make a shrimp scampi pizza even though i think a fish pizza is kind of gross. I think it's because she's korean. The shrimp scampi was amazing though.
